Amcore Financial Appoints Donald Wilson Financial Chief, Exec VP

WASHINGTON - Amcore Financial Inc. disclosed Tuesday that it appointed Donald H. Wilson as its new executive vice president and chief financial officer.

The multibank holding company said in a document filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission that Wilson will assume his responsibilities effective Feb. 6.

Wilson is succeeding John R. Hecht, who assumed new operating responsibilities as executive vice president and chief commercial officer in October 2005.

Wilson has been senior vice president and corporate treasurer of Marshall & Ilsley Corp. since May 1995.
