The Brookfield, Wis., banking technology vendor on Monday announced the milestone for its Mobile Money software. Financial companies can manage the service on their own or let Fiserv host it for them.

Mobile Money lets users check balances, pay bills and transfer money between accounts.

"Credit unions are increasingly adopting Mobile Money to strengthen their competitive position through a high-value, low-cost service that appeals to a broad range of consumers," Dave Selina, Fiserv's segment executive for its credit union solutions products, said in a press release.
