Aim Management Assigns 6 VPs To New 401(k) Sales Division

Aim Management Group has added six vice presidents to its newly created 401(k) sales division, including five hired from competitors.

Beth Cunningham will handle sales in the Southeast. She joined Aim from Cigna Retirement and Investment Services.

Charles Dewey will handle the Middle Atlantic states and New England. He was previously a vice president and wholesaler in the New York metropolitan area for the New York Stock Exchange Division of Aim's retail marketing department.

Bryan Hissong, who was hired from American United Life Insurance Co., will lead sales in the Southwest. Lisa Hultquist will direct sales in the north central United States; She joined the company from Diversified Investment Advisors.

Dan Phillips, who was hired from GT Global Inc., will handle the Northwest region. And Kurt Wiggins will head sales in the south central United States; Mr. Wiggins joined Aim from Van Kampen American Capital.

Aim, based in Houston, manages about $90 million of assets for 4.4 million shareholders. It is a subsidiary of London-based Amvescap PLC.
