Alabama National BanCorp. has a deal to sell its insurance subsidiary.
The Birmingham company announced Wednesday that it had agreed to sell ANB Insurance Services Inc. to S.S. Nesbitt & Co. Inc., a subsidiary of Ebsco Industries Inc., which is also based in Birmingham.
The deal is expected to close in the next few months. The price was not released.
Alabama National has 12 subsidiaries with 102 branches in Alabama, Florida, and Georgia.
