Cardtronics Inc.'s Allpoint surcharge-free automated teller machine network has added more than 1,000 machines as part of a long-term agreement with Aptus Financial Inc.
Aptus is a Portland, Ore., independent ATM operator that provides machines and maintenance to banks, credit unions and retailers. It announced its deal with Cardtronics on Tuesday.
The new Allpoint-affiliated machines are in more than 20 states and are available to the network's 1,100 member issuers and about 25 million cardholders.
