American National Bank Names Executive

American National Bank and Trust Co. of Chicago has named John Q. McKinnon president.

American National is the middle-market business banking subsidiary of Bank One Corp., Chicago. Its two other Chicago banking units are Bank One Illinois and First National Bank.

He succeeds David P. Bolger, who now heads merger integration as an executive vice president for the parent company.

Mr. McKinnon, who joined the bank in 1968, had been an executive vice president and head of commercial banking activities for American National.

He is also responsible for middle-market banking in Illinois at the two other bank units.

He has also helped to expand American National's business in the Chicago and Rockford, Ill., markets, as well as in Milwaukee.
