American National Bank and Trust Co., Danville, Va., has installed the Fiserv Comprehensive Banking System on an International Business Machines Corp. AS/400 model E45. The $247 million-asset bank has six branches and services more than 35,000 customer accounts.

The Cleveland-based bank is projecting steady growth in net interest income even as credit losses remain manageable. But Chairman and CEO Chris Gorman also said that he thinks a recession is likely.
