Amerin Hires Banc One Unit's Ex-Chief Operating Officer

The mortgage insurer Amerin Guaranty Corp., Chicago, has named Albert V. Will, the former chief operating officer of Banc One Mortgage, as executive vice president for operations.

Mr. Will, 42, reports to chief operating officer Roy Kasmar. He will be in charge of risk operations, technology, claims, and contract underwriting.

For the past year Mr. Will has been working as a consultant. At Banc One he assembled the mortgage unit's management team and helped launch a new originations system. Earlier he worked for six years at Residential Services Corporation of America, a subsidiary of Prudential Insurance Co.

Amerin hired William V. Nardiello as national sales and marketing director. He reports to Mr. Kasmar and has a mandate to expand marketing relationships, focusing on the industry's top lenders.

Mr. Nardiello, 52, has spent most of his career outside the mortgage business. He worked for a year at Residential Information Services, a mortgage technology subsidiary of Prudential, and for 16 years at International Business Machines Corp. Most recently he was a consultant at Thomas Group, a Dallas technology consulting firm.
