American Express Co. said Tuesday that Joan Amble will leave her roles as comptroller and principal accounting officer on May 15.
Amble, 57, who is also an executive vice president with the New York credit card company, will retire at the end of the calendar year.
Amex said it expects David Cornish, 50, senior vice president and deputy controller, to take over the post of acting comptroller and principal accounting officer on May 16.
