Amvescap Director Retires

The investment manager Amvescap PLC of London announced Thursday that Robert H. Graham has stepped down as vice chairman of the board of directors and retired.

Mr. Graham, 60, was a founder of AIM Investments, which was started in 1976 and merged with Invesco in 1997 to form Amvescap. He had been a director of Amvescap since 1997 and vice chairman of the board since 2001.

A spokesman would not say whether the company was seeking a successor. Amvescap had $465.1 billion of assets under management as of Feb. 28.
