Lots of news from SIEM vendor ArcSight, all of it good for financial services customers. First is the announcement that ArcSight will integrate its products with those from Guardium, a leading database security vendor, “to give enterprises a 360-degree view of internal and external database activity,” the companies say in a press release.
ArcSight is also getting into the fraud detection business, using its SIEM platform to process large-volume data streams and offer cross-channel correlation, pattern matching and anomaly detection. The new product promises fraud detection in a vendor-neutral fashion, taking data from legacy, Web and SOA applications.
Pricing for the AntiFraud Accelerator starts at $60k, but customers must already be on the ArcSight SIEM platform.
