Arrow Financial in N.Y. Sells Insurance Agency

Arrow Financial in Glen Falls, N.Y., has sold an insurance agency that focuses on amateur sports.

Associates of Glen Falls Insurance said in a press release last week that it bought Loomis & LaPann from the $2.4 billion-asset Arrow for an undisclosed price.

Loomis & LaPann focuses on amateur sports management, developing insurance programs designed for high school athletic associations, high school coaches associations, the U.S. Olympic Committee national governing bodies and amateur sports groups. The firm insures more than 100,000 high school coaches.

Loomis and LaPann's leader and associates will move with the firm, which will also keep its name.
