Arundel gets Irvington Federal from RTC.

WASHINGTON -- Baltimore-based Arundel Federal Savings Bank took over Irvington Federal Savings Bank in Glen Burnie, Md., from the Resolution Trust Corp., the agency announced Monday.

The RTC paid Arundel Federal $2.8 million to take Irvington's $27.6 million of insured deposits and $22.9 million of assets. Irvington had assets of $30.8 million and liabilities of $31 million when it failed in February 1992. Arundel Federal has $207 million of assets.
