BA-CA Appoints Carlo Vivaldi As New CFO, Strobl Resigns

VIENNA (Dow Jones)--Austria's Bank Austria Creditanstalt (BACA.VI), or BA-CA,Friday said its Chief Financial Officer Johann Strobl is resigning from the postand will be replaced by Carlo Vivaldi.

Strobl will leave BA-CA at his own request to assume a new function outsidethe bank, the bank said in a statement as it released its first-half results.

Vivaldi, who is currently CFO of BA-CA's Turkish subsidiary Yapi Kredi (KYFIN.IS), will take over Strobl's position on BA-CA's management board Oct. 1.
