Banc of California Names New Chief Administrative Officer

Banc of California in Irvine has promoted a back-office executive to become chief administrative officer.

Thedora Nickel was promoted this week, the $8.2 billion-asset company said in a Thursday news release. Nickel replaced Matthew March, who had been chief administrative officer since December 2014; March left Banc of California in October to become chief information officer at Colony American Finance in Irvine.

Nickel, as CAO, will lead Banc of California's operations, treasury management services, human resources and other administrative functions. She joined Banc of California in 2013 and previously worked for Bank of America.
