Bank of America Financing Rises for Tower

Bank of America Corp. will get nearly $1.28 billion in financing for its tower at Bryant Park in New York, more than the original amount of financing for the building's construction.

The building has been the subject of some concern in recent months because of the amount of vacancies there.

The loan is the largest single asset real-estate loan in the country issued since the markets slumped last fall.

The building has been open since May 2008.
