Bank of America Hires Technology Exec

Bank of America Corp. said Friday that it has hired Bridget O'Connor as its chief technology officer for consumer and small-business banking and home loans and insurance.

O'Connor, who will also be the businesses' customer segments technology executive, will head the teams that support technology for the businesses and their customers.

She will begin in mid-August and report to both Marc Gordon, B of A's chief technology officer, and Vlad Torgovnik, the CSBB technology and operations and HL&I technology executive.
