Bank of America Reorganizes Risk Management Team

Bank of America Corp. has announced several personnel change as part of an organizational shake-up of its global risk management team.

In newly created positions, Jim Alessandri serves as retail risk management executive and David Flannery heads up global banking and markets risk management. Paul Morrison serves as the newly created legacy asset servicing risk management executive. B of A announced the changes Wednesday.

Alessandri now handles the Charlotte, N.C., company's business lines for home loans, consumer and small business banking and global wealth and investment management. He most recently was B of A's global banking risk executive.

Alessandri's team includes Mick Ankrom, who continues as global wealth and investment management risk management executive and as a leader of risk management for consumer and small business banking and home loans businesses.

Flannery now oversees large corporate and institutional clients. He most recently was head of global leveraged finance.

Connie Eagan became business support executive and cover all GBAM risk while Marisa Harney was named to a new global banking risk management executive position, focusing on credit risk. Rick Parsons, corporate operational risk management executive, will retire in the coming weeks and Robin Phillips will assume his role in early September.
