Bank of Greece Sends Tolomer To Boston as Troubleshooter

Robert J. Tolomer, executive vice president and chief of credit and compliance for Atlantic Bank of New York, is going on temporary assignment as interim general manager of the Boston branches of its parent, National Bank of Greece.

Mr. Tolomer will manage the development and implementation of improved internal controls and procedures. He will also focus on regulatory, administrative, and credit matters. In addition, he will serve on a supervisory committee being formed to oversee the progress of the Boston branches.

This committee also will include, among others, Peter L. Venetis, president and chief executive of Atlantic Bank, and members of National Bank of Greece's management.
