Bank of New York Mellon to Remit for a CU

Bank of New York Mellon Corp. said Wednesday that it would provide international remittance services to KeyPoint Credit Union.

BNY Mellon said KeyPoint, of Santa Clara, Calif., would use its Remit Worldwide service under a private-label arrangement to let its 80,000 members remit funds directly to beneficiaries in other countries.

"The Bank of New York Mellon's Remit Worldwide platform measures up to the global interests and technologically advanced expectations of our members, and we're delighted to be adding remittance payments," Juli Anne Callis, an executive vice president at KeyPoint, said in the New York banking company's release.

Bank of New York Mellon said its treasury services group has sites in 34 countries on six continents and a network of more than 2,000 correspondents.
