Bank OZK names new finance, operating chiefs

Bank OZK in Little Rock, Arkansas, has named its next chief financial officer.

The $26.5 billion-asset company said in a regulatory filing Monday that Tim Hicks, currently chief credit and administrative officer, will succeed Greg McKinney as CFO in June. McKinney is retiring after 18 years at the company.

Hicks’s promotion was part of its “long-standing management succession plan,” the company said.

McKinney plans to step down on June 10, according to the filing. Bank OZK said his retirement is “not a result of any disagreement with the company on any matter relating to its operations, policies or practices.”

Bank OZK said it “greatly appreciates” McKinney’s “hard work, dedication and leadership throughout his nearly two decades of service to the company.”

The company also said in the filing that Chief Banking Officer Cindy Wolfe will take on the new role of chief operating officer in June. Wolfe joined the bank in 1997 and, earlier in her tenure, served as deputy director of community banking.
