Wellesley Bancorp in Massachusetts has appointed New England banking veteran Kathryn Hinderhofer to its board.
Hinderhofer will also be a director of Wellesley Bank, the $645 million-asset company said Wednesday.
Hinderhofer retired from National Bank Holdings in Greenwood Village, Colo., in 2014 as director of integration and technology operations, having joined the company in 2009. After her retirement she was an acquisitions consultant for the company.
Before joining NBH, Hinderhofer spent 17 years at Citizens Financial Group in Providence, R.I. She also worked for Boston Five Cents Savings Bank, which was sold to Citizens.
At Citizens, Hinderhofer "was responsible for leading the business integration activities and divestitures relating to 26 acquisitions" that the company completed during her tenure, Wellesley said in a press release.
Hinderhofer is also a director of Micronotes, an enterprise marketing management company based in Boston that partners with financial institutions.
