BankSimple.com of New York on Tuesday announced a partnership with TxVia Inc., also of New York, for processing debit card, online bill payment and automated clearing house transactions.

The partnership will "give us a lot of real-time processing and a full set of" application programming interfaces, Josh Reich, BankSimple.com's chief executive, said in an interview.
BankSimple.com, which was created by Simple Finance Technology Corp., has not launched, but has pre-signed about 40,000 customers, Reich said. He said the site has secured a bank partner to issue debit cards, but he wouldn't name which one.
