BNY Mellon Appoints President for Trust Operation

Bank of New York Mellon (BK) has named a president for its corporate trust business.

Antonio Portuondo succeeded Troy Kilpatrick, who recently became head of Wells Fargo Corporate Trust Services, a unit of Wells Fargo (WFC).

Portuondo will oversee the trust company, which provides investment services to government agencies and institutional investors. He previously ran the unit's public and not-for-profit sales and relationship management team. He has also served as its chief administrative officer.

Portuondo joined BNY Mellon in 1998. His appointment was effective May 7.
