BNY Mellon's office facility in Everett, Mass. has been awarded a Gold-level LEED certification, based on the building's energy, lighting water and material use.
Other highlights include a 20 percent reduction in energy consumption, improved waste management, and the use of a rooftop solar array to produce energy.
The 385,000 square foot facility opened in 1999, and is home to more than 1,000 employees and an operations center for the bank's asset servicing and other business.
