Beach Business Bank said Monday that it is offering a remote-capture deposit service aimed at health-care practices through its Doctors Bank division.
The Manhattan Beach, Calif., banking company focuses on small- and midsize-business customers.
The remote-capture software is part of Greenbook Elite Banking Package, a cash management software suite from Greenbook Financial Services that Beach offers to clients. Greenbook is a San Diego financial planning and investment management company that sells business banking software.
The service is intended to let doctors' offices convert patients' checks into electronic images and transmit them to a bank for deposit. Small business customers often say they like the convenience of not having to go to the branch to make deposits.
"The money gets in the bank quickly, and copies of the checks are easy to access. It's a real time-saver," Dr. Daryl Byrd, a New Orleans dentist, said in a Beach press release.
