Capitol Bancorp Ltd. of Lansing, Mich., has upgraded its core processing system to Jack Henry & Associates Inc.'s SilverLake software.
Jack Henry, of Monett, Mo., said Tuesday that Capitol is running the software at all of its 53 banks, which collectively have $4.3 billion of assets.
Capitol has installed the software over the past 18 months. It has been a Jack Henry customer for 18 years. Thirty-two of its banks are converting from the P21 core processing system, another Jack Henry product that was discontinued a few yeas ago; the other 21 are newly formed banks.
Greg Bixby, Capitol's chief information officer, said in a Jack Henry press release that the SilverLake software "is ideally matched with this progressive organization's growth, service, and operational, and profit goals."
