First National Bank of Chicago has won a commercial card contract from the Department of Justice.
The two-year contract takes effect Dec. 1, along with other new card deals with federal agencies, and includes purchasing, fleet, and travel and entertainment services.
The First Chicago NBD Corp. subsidiary said it expects the Justice program, one of the five biggest in the government, to generate $500 million in annual volume from 120,000 cardholders.
Anna Rumsey, head of First Chicago's federal card team, said, "These cards and their integrated implementation will make life easier for the employees while they streamline the department's accounting and management."
