company, said it is developing software and hardware systems to support Mondex electronic cash for banking and retail industry applications. The company also said it will provide consulting services to facilitate national and international rollouts of Mondex, the British smart card system developed by National Westminster Bank and Midland Bank. The cash cards are currently being tested in the town of Swindon, England, and at Wells Fargo Bank headquarters in San Francisco. The Royal Bank of Canada and Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce will implement a pilot of the Mondex system in Guelph, Ontario, next year.
