Davox Corp. said it has completed installation of 14 Unison call center management systems for Commercial Financial Services of Tulsa, Okla., the largest buyer and collector of charged-off credit card debt.

The systems are being used in the company's Tulsa and Oklahoma City call centers, which employ more than 2,500 account officers.

"Unison is helping us to place nearly 1.5 million calls a day," said Chris Horrocks, the debt collection company's chief information officer. He said the system lets the staff "achieve significantly more productive phone time." He credited the Davox staff with ensuring smooth implementation.

Commercial Financial, which started in 1984 with the purchase of $13,000 in bad loans, employs more than 3,700 collection and operations professionals and says it has achieved unprecedented collections success through the strategic use of technology.
