Signature Group, a direct marketer that develops and runs credit card enhancement programs, won an award of excellence from the International Customer Service Association.

The marketer attributed its success, in part, to a three-week employee education program that each of its 600 customer service representatives must complete.

The nearly 3,000-member association was established in 1981 to recognize the achievements of customer service professionals.
