Cardlytics announced Wednesday that the company, which provides targeted offers to debit-card users, is offering a similar technology designed for credit card portfolios.

Cardlytics, of Atlanta, Ga., uses its bank clients' transaction data to place offers within consumers' online banking view.

With the credit card version, Cardlytics' clients can also offer deals through email and mobile apps, says Rod Witmond, Cardlytics' senior vice president of product management and marketing, in an interview.

"It's all about really leveraging the lessons learned [from debit cards]," he says.
