Central Bancshares in Iowa to Change Some Bank Names

Central Bancshares in Muscatine, Iowa, will change the name of some of its banks to CBI Bank & Trust.

The $793 million-asset company said the CBI Bank & Trust name will be adopted by Central State Bank, Freedom Security Bank, West Chester Savings Bank and Buffalo Prairie State Bank. All of those banks are owned by the Central Bancshares holding company.

F&M Bank in Galesburg, Ill., which is also owned by Central Bancshares, will not change its name.
