Chubak has served as global head of productivity for Citi since 2013 and worked closely with Citi's recent efforts to restructure various operations, including the sale or outsourcing of its U.S. mortgage servicing.

The bank, which has been reorganizing with the aim of focusing more on core retail customers in the United States, will be searching for a new executive to replace Chubak as productivity head. Productivity group members Pooja Daswani and Ajit Sequeira will serve as productivity heads in the interim.

Citi executives active in U.S. mortgage operations who will report to Chubak in his new role include C.D. Davies, head of global mortgage; and Ray Romano, chief risk officer of U.S. consumer, commercial and mortgage banking.

Other banking executives reporting to Chubak will include wealth management executives Surath Chatterjee, who manages client segmentation; Cindy Silverman, who leads distribution and sales; and Adrian Cristiani, who manages digital products.
