Co-Op Financial in Deal with CU Group

The Louisiana Credit Union League has agreed to offer its members access to the surcharge-free automated teller machine network operated by Co-op Financial Services.

Co-op Financial Services, of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., said the deal will help it expand in the South.

The Louisiana Credit Union League, of Harahan, serves 226 credit unions in Louisiana. Co-op Financial operates 28,000 surcharge-free ATMs for its 3,000 credit union members nationwide.

"Co-op Network is growing rapidly in the Southeast," Eric Porter, Co-op Financial's executive vice president of business development and marketing, said in a press release last week. "We have a tremendous opportunity to expand surcharge-free ATM access to credit union members in Louisiana through this partnership."
