Co-op Financial Services has extended its electronic funds transfer network-access agreement with First Data Corp.'s STAR Network.
Co-op Financial Services, of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., provides STAR Network access to more than 600 credit union members and counts STAR among its preferred EFT networks.
Co-op Financial and STAR have worked together since 1985 to ensure member credit unions have secure and reliable network access. First Data is a unit of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co.
Co-op Financial Services also uses First Data for transaction processing services for the reloadable prepaid cards that it offers to its members.
Co-op is owned by credit unions and claims 3,000 credit union members, with 26 million cardholders.
