Commerce of New Jersey Renews NCR Pact

NCR Corp. has renewed and expanded an agreement to provide automated teller machines and services for Commerce Bancorp Inc. of Cherry Hill, N.J.

The Dayton, Ohio, ATM company said Tuesday that the five-year deal would include maintenance, cash replenishment, incident management, and help desk services.

Commerce will deploy NCR's high-end Personas M model ATMs and its Aptra ATM management software, which can support ATMs from multiple providers on a bank's network.

The $47.4 billion-asset Commerce has 450 branches and more than 650 ATMs in nine states. It has said it plans to more than double its branches by 2011.

NCR "has proven to be an asset to our growth strategy," Richard Burke, a Commerce senior vice president, said in an NCR press release.
