Community National Bank in Derby, Vt., has promoted Kathryn Austin to chief operating officer.
Austin also will continue as executive vice president responsible for retail banking at Community National and its parent, Community Bancorp. She has worked at Community National for over 34 years and joined the company's board in July 2012, according to a press release Friday.
The $563 million-asset Community National has 15 branches in Vermont, according to data from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp.
