An item in the Washington People column on page 3 Monday incorrectly stated that Monique S. Gaw was becoming the American Financial Services Association's "top lobbyist," succeeding Jeffrey A. Tassey. Thomas J. Lehner is the group's top lobbyist; he succeeded Mr. Tassey in February. Ms. Gaw was hired recently to be vice president for federal government affairs, reporting to Mr. Lehner.
