Corrections

Omission of a sentence from the Thursday article "Lenders Hope Registry Accounts Yield Lasting Relationships" (page 9) made the next sentence unclear. The passage should have read:

"One thing Universal may want to reconsider, however, is the announcements it sends to wedding guests explaining its bridal registry program. Another recent Colorado bride who took part in the program, Amber Miller, said many of her wedding guests 'threw them away because they thought they looked like junk mail.'"

The "Washington People" column Monday gave the wrong last name for a Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. employee who will temporarily join the House Banking Committee staff. She is Rebecca Harris.
