Crisis Panel Schedules Hearings in January

The Financial Crisis Inquiry Committee said Tuesday that it will hold its first public hearing during two days in January.

The hearing, which the committee said would focus on the "causes and current state of the financial crisis," is to be held on Jan. 13 and 14. The committee did not release the names of those who will testify but said it will hear from "top leaders of both private- and public-sector entities that played critical roles in the crisis."
