Cullen Capital Starts Small-Cap Value Fund

Cullen Capital Management in New York introduced the Cullen Small Cap Value Fund on Tuesday.

The portfolio, which began offering shares Thursday, invests in companies with market capitalizations of less than $4 billion at the time of purchase. This value strategy includes seeking companies that are attractively priced on a valuation basis, for example, price-to-earnings and price-to-book, with specific opportunities to increase earnings and cash flow and compound value over time.

The fund can invest up to 30% of its capital in companies headquartered outside the United States.

Cullen Capital has two other portfolios, the Cullen High Dividend Equity Fund and the Cullen International High Dividend Fund. It also is a subadviser to the Pioneer Cullen Value Fund.

Cullen Capital had $9.6 billion of assets under management at Aug. 30.
