To enhance security for credit card issuers, DataCard Corp. has a new turnkey program that prints photos directly onto cards at a cost of about $5.50 per item, or $3,500 for the whole card personalization system. About 10 banks are now using the Minneapolis-based company's processing services which can handle manufacturing cards, taking cardholders' photos, personalizing cards, and mailing.
