Deutsche Morgan Grenfell has signed BankAmerica Corp. veteran Robert Curley Jr. as managing director and head of liability products for the technology industry.
Mr. Curley, 39, will work out of the technology group's Menlo Park, Calif., office and report to Frank Quattrone, chief executive officer of the group.
Mr. Curley's team will deliver structured finance, foreign currency, risk management, and bank credit products to the group's clients.
To date the technology group has provided equity research and merger and acquisition advisory services.
At BankAmerica, Mr. Curley was a senior vice president in the division serving midsize technology firms. He had been with the San Francisco-based bank and Continental Bank, which was acquired by BankAmerica, since 1980.
