Diebold in Deal with Texas Credit Union

Diebold Inc. announced Thursday that Union Square Federal Credit Union has chosen it for monitoring and other services.

Union Square, of Wichita Falls, Texas, said it will use Diebold's Advisor ATM status monitoring system, its OpteView remote services, endpoint protection monitoring, software subscription management and help desk support.

Six of Union Square's 21 automated teller machines use the North Canton, Ohio, vendor's technology for envelope-free deposits of up to 50 mixed-denomination notes. These machines also print check images on receipts.

"Union Square has reported an increase in the volume and values of check and cash deposits at its image-enabled ATMs," John M. Deignan, vice president and chief marketing officer for Diebold, said in the release. "This is consistent with deposit automation implementations across the industry."
