Digital Insight and Andera Join Forces

Digital Insight's found an online account opening partner in Andera, a strategic alliance that will give Andera additional access to about 1,800 banking clients, while Digital Insight will be able to leverage an account opening and funding process that can last as little as 10 minutes. It also likely stunts CashEdge’s ability to add new customers via its own relationship with Digital Insight.

“Digital Insight’s online banking application can become a sales platform,” says Charlie Kroll, CEO, Andera. “An online user can log into an online banking site, add additional relationships and have them funded immediately.”

Digital Insight will offer all four levels of Andera’s platform, designed to support a wide range of institutional clients, including community banks seeking a package solution and large institutions looking for a configurable and flexible product. The two firms said Legence Bank, a $160 million institution serving southern Illinois and Evansville, Indian, was the first customer to implement the joint solution.
Tobin Lee, a spokesman for Intuit—which bought Digital Insight in 2007, says the firm will continue to support the online account opening offerings that existed the Andera deal, such as CashEdge. “We won’t force customers to switch platforms, but Andera will be the focus going forward.”
