Dollars to Moscow, by Western Union.

Western Union Financial Services Union Financial Services Inc. said it had begun paying out money transfers to Moscow in dollars.

The company started its money transfer service to Moscow in February, but recipients could pick up their money only in rubles.

This limited demand for the service, said a spokesman for the company, a unit of New Valley Corp., Upper Saddle River, N.J.

An average money transfer, for $300, costs $29 whether to Moscow or within the United States, the spokesman said.
