Ex-Montana Commissioner Joins Glacier Bancorp Board

Glacier Bancorp (GBCI) in Kalispell, Mont., has appointed former state banking commissioner Annie M. Goodwin to its board of directors.

Goodwin, who is also a banking attorney, was Montana's Commissioner of Banking and Financial Institutions from 2001 to 2010. Prior to that, she served as chief legal counsel for the state banking board from 1988 to 2001

At the $7.2 billion-asset Glacier, Goodwin will serve on the audit, compliance, compensation, governance and risk committees, the company said Friday.

Glacier had been a multi-bank holding company until it recently combined its 11 banks in Montana, Idaho, Wyoming and Colorado under a single state charter. The individual banks retained their brand names, however, with each operating as divisions of Glacier Bank.
