Temecula Valley Bancorp of Temecula, Calif., has hired Michael J. Curran as its chief risk officer and a senior vice president.
Mr. Curran was a financial institution manager at the California Department of Financial Institutions, where he spent the last 18 years.
He will head the risk management group at the $656 million-asset Temecula Valley Bank, provide regulatory guidance to bank personnel, and act as a liaison with state and federal regulators.
Bridge Bank of San Jose has expanded the duties of Michael Field to include oversight of its newly created technology banking division.
Mr. Field, who is an executive vice president, has been the manager of the capital finance group since joining the bank in 2002. Before that he had been the senior vice president of the capital finance group at Silicon Valley Bank of Santa Clara, Calif.
Bridge Bank has $449 million of assets and is owned by Bridge Capital Holdings.
