Oxford Bank Corp. in Michigan has named Jeffrey M. Davidson its president and chief executive officer.
Mr. Davidson remains the president and CEO of its $536 million-asset Oxford Bank, jobs he was given in 2003. He joined the bank in 1985 as an assistant vice president of branch administration.
In his new jobs, he succeeded Randall G. Fox, who will remain the chairman of the company and the bank.
MIDDLE ATLANTICFedFirst Financial Corp. of Monessen, Pa., has hired Robert C. Barry Jr. as its chief financial officer and a senior vice president.
Mr. Barry came to the parent of the $276 million-asset First Federal Savings Bank from PNC Financial Services Group Inc., where he was the business risk officer and a senior vice president. In his nine years at the Pittsburgh company, he had also been its director of finance, its director of regulatory relations, and the CFO of its regional community bank unit.
Before joining PNC, he had worked at KPMG LLP for 32 years, 24 of them as a partner.
Valley National Bank of Wayne, N.J., has made John H. Noonan the first senior vice president of risk management.
Mr. Noonan had been a risk management special adviser since joining the $12.4 billion-asset unit of Valley National Bancorp in 2003. Before that he had held several jobs at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, including national bank examiner, director, and assistant deputy comptroller.
He has 35 years of banking experience.
SOUTHEASTUnited Bank of Fairfax, Va., has promoted Dennis M. Coombe to chief credit officer.
Mr. Coombe, who joined the $6.6 billion-asset unit of United Bankshares Inc. in 2000, was a market president in its corporate lending division.
He has 30 years of commercial lending experience.
